This Robotic Label Applicator System will automatically
pick up a bottle, can, test tube, jar, vial and place it in the semi-automatic
bottle label applicator, that will actuate the label applicator, then pick it up from the label applicator and place
it in a return bin.
This is a great low cost way to
label a large volume of bottles without buying large, complex and expensive dedicated
factory floor labeling equipment. You do not have to be a developer, technician
or engineer to use this. It also has a small foot print and is very flexible.
When your bottle size/shape changes you can accommodate this change quickly and
easily.
With the addition of your internet connected printer you can automatically create on demand labels and automatically apply these onto your packages. Each label could be different and unique.
Simple Operation - No Computer or
Software Required
This system runs without a PC (Computer). Just locate your bottles and labeler at the predefined robot stage locations,
one for pick up, another for the labeler and another for the bottle return. Place
your labels in the labeler and hook up
thehose from your air compressor. Then
power the system up and press the trigger switch and itautomatically picks up the bottle, places it
in the labeler, activates the labeler, retrieves the labeled bottle and places
it in the return bin. It can be set up to do it once or continuously.
Quick set-up and easy operation
The whole system fits on most desks.
Industrial Strength Machined Aluminum
Custom Options Available
This system can also be activated
with an optional external trigger switch, limit switch, virtually any push
button or at power up. However, if you
want to perform even more complicated applications then read on.
Optional Automation
Optionally, you can also set it to
run in automatic modes or stay in manual mode. In automatic mode you can set it
to run once each time it is triggered by a triggering event such as a mouse
click, external switch/push button, another device, program and/or at power up. It can also be
programmed to run continuously or a set number of times or until an event
occurs, such as end of sequence, out of objects to move, etc. You can also hook
it up to a vision system or machine inspection system to inspect the bottle and
label.
Interfacing to Your Computer for
More Complex Applications
If you require more complex
labeling applications than described above, you can still hook it up to your
computer. The system can also be controlled
via a Windows XP/Vista compatible computer using any of the below mentioned
software applications and a USB port, RS485 port or an RS232 serial port by
sending simple commands to the robotic controller.
Easy To Use - No Programming
Required
This system is so easy to use you
do not have to be a software developer or engineer to use it. All you do is set
it on your desk, work bench or factory floor and plug in a power supply, hook
it up to your serial port or USB port and start the optional small application
we provide and start moving the unit with your computer mouse. You can then
teach it to make all kinds of discrete moves to pick up bottles from different
locations in a matter of a few minutes. Later as you become experienced with
its basic operation you can teach it more complex operations like choosing
bottles of different sizes and shapes to be labeled with a variety of different
labels and return to different bins/locations. You can even hook it up to your
computer to custom print each and every label before placing it on your bottle.
Compatible Label Applicators
This unit will work with most semi-automatic label
applicator machines such as Bottle-Matic and Primera, sold separately. When
used in conjunction with the Primera AP360/326 Label Applicator the Robotics
Label Applicator this system can place labels on containers ranging from 0.6 inches
to 6.7 inches (15mm to 170mm) in diameter and 1inch to 9.4 inches (25.4mm to 238mm) long.
Compatible with roll or fan-fed labels printed by any methods such as
flexographic, offset and thermal transfer, all can be applied with this system.
Custom Application Development
If you want to interface this unit
to something more complex give us a call. This unit includes plenty of I/O to sense and control relays, vales,
small actuators, etc. We can interface this unit to your machines, special
labelers and/or special handlers, in your system, to perform just about any labeling
application you can think of.
Send us a few of your bottles or
cans and we can run a demo of our system labeling your product and send you a
short video of it.
